NADA is the National Automotive Dealers Association and is an organization that allows any new-car and -truck dealership holding a sales and service franchise to become a member. NADA represents all franchised new-car dealers, domestic or import, before Congress, federal agencies, the general public and the media. They provide an education and guidance on regulatory matters and represent dealers interest with automobile and truck manufacturers. NADA also develops research data on the retail automobile industry and shares their findings with NADA members. They offer extensive training programs to improve dealership operations both in sales and service. Lastly they operate a charitable foundation that distributes funds donated by dealers and friends to emergency/medical and educational organizations and private-sector colleges and universities.
